Art Workshop of Western Sonoma County Demo

Donna DeLaBriandais: Watercolor

Donna DeLaBraindais finds inspiration for her paintings in the diverse landscape of Sonoma County and the North Bay. She studied painting at the San Francisco Academy of Art and graduated from the University of San Francisco. She is a signature member of the American Impressionist Society and belongs to the California Art Club. Donna teaches at the SRJC, Riley Street and various art centers as well as serving as a juror and judge of art competitions.

Her wet into wet watercolor demo will be an ocean scene from an oil painting she did on location in Carmel. She finds that painting in both mediums has opened her creative expression. Bob Hart and Phil Wilkinson will set up a camera system that will allow us to see the artist painting horizontally. She may finish the piece vertically as well.

For more info on Donna:

Our meetings are held at the Sebastopol Vets Building at 282 High St. and start with a noon lunch followed by a brief business meeting. The demo will begin at 1:15. There is a $5 fee for non-members.
